中新网6月30日电 由万事达卡国际组织进行的最新调查显示，中国在2010年将取代日本成为亚太地区最大的网上购物市场。
据英国广播公司28日的消息，万事达对亚太地区电子商务市场进行了调查后提出，相信到2011年亚太地区网上购物的增长率将超过每年23%的水平。
调查报告提出，相信亚太网上购物增长的主要驱动力将是中国和印度。调查指出，中国和印度两国“中上收入城市精英”人数的逐渐增加将刺激两国网上购物市场的迅速发展。
报告说：“两国社会的迅速城市化、快速的经济扩张以及购买力的增强都意味着两国国内消费额将有强劲增长。”
报告预言到2010年，中国将有4.8亿名网上消费者，约占亚太地区总数的58%。而目前中国网络消费者的人数只占亚太总数的约一半。
万事达组织的报告还提出，2010年中国网络购物销售额将有望达到1.4万亿美元，成为亚太区的第一；而印度估计将成为第二位。
